About
Introducing Binded, the world's first copyright platform.
Acquired by Pixsy.com on September 10th, 2019.
Mission
Binded’s mission is to make creativity the world’s most valuable asset.
Vision
Copyright is an essential part of our world economy, yet
no one has built a modern technology company to make
copyright useful on the web. As the job landscape changes
with the rise of automation, this problem will only
continue to grow.
Creativity is one of the few
things that cannot be replaced by modern technology and in
the future it will be even more important that people can
make a living using their creativity. Today it's
incredibly difficult to identify the copyright owner of a
file on the web. Binded will change that.

Binded HQ
Japantown
Binded is in the heart of San Francisco’s Japantown
neighborhood. Our office is a unique Japanese style loft
with a lot of history.
In the 60’s a popular
Japanese restaurant was downstairs. It was frequented by
John Lennon, Yoko Ono and other artists and musicians.
The owner lived upstairs and hosted parties where Binded
is today.
The Japantown area is clean and
safe with great food and entertainment nearby. Ramen
Hinadaya is downstairs and Kabuki Theatre is a block
away. The historic music venue The Fillmore is also
nearby.
Brand
A new symbol for
digital copyright.
The “bound block” symbol is the most succinct form of our identity. The lines coming together stand for a creator’s copyright being bound to their digital works on the Internet, while also representing the foundational blockchain technology underlying the product.
